We are delighted to announce that two of our colleagues Teresa Martins (Environmental Engineer) and Ricardo Abrantes (Materials Engineer) have passed their European Qualifying Examination (EQE) and will now become European Patent Attorneys. This exam is known for being one of the most demanding professional examinations, assessing the knowledge and skills of candidates to represent in proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO).

With these two new entries, PATENTREE strengthens its position as one of the Portuguese IP firms with the largest number of EQE qualified specialists.

This prestigious title will not only enrich Teresa’s and Ricardo’s career experience but also be of even greater help to our clients in their new extended roles as EPAs.
